The Sweeter Taste of Life

Get your Fun Cards and experience Christmas at Sea World.

Updated: Feb 12, 2021

Christmas Celebration

We had the opportunity to go to Sea World for their Christmas Celebration and it was amazing. This event is available for all season pass holders even those with Fun Cards, but hurry because space is limited!!

There’s no hold on holiday cheer this year because SeaWorld San Diego’s Christmas Celebration is bringing families together with priceless traditions and fun-filled surprises.

Rudolph's Movie Experience

My boys absolutely love Rudolph the Red Nose reindeer so they were extremely excited to see a shortened retelling of the ultimate holiday classic movie which was shown on SeaWorld’s spectacular 150-foot outdoor screen. We sang along to the best holiday songs before the clip started and it really got us into the Christmas spirit but the best part of all was the live appearance by Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer himself. Surely you don't want to miss this event.

Christmas Treasure Hunt

My oldest son loves scavenger hunts and we appreciate the Sea World always has them available to add to our fun adventure at the park. We got to enjoy one for Halloween and we were so excited when we found out that there was going to be another one for Christmas. This Christmas Treasure Hunt sticker map is available at The SeaWorld Store. We loved exploring the park to find Santa’s gifts for all 8 of his beloved reindeer and we marked each location on our map with the correct reindeer sticker as we enjoy our day at SeaWorld. When we found them all, we took our completed map back to The SeaWorld Store to collect a special gift just for us! This is the part the kids look forward to the most. They get super stoked about what they will be getting at the end of their merry quest.

Sesame Street® Christmas Village

I really love how Sea World San Diego has something for the whole family. My youngest loves Sesame Street and so we had to stop and visit the Christmas Village. We love all the beautiful holiday decorations including their Christmas trees. The boys got take physically-distant photo with one of our favorite furry friends, the Cookie Monster in his festive holiday attire.

Santa Presents: Christmas Animals Around the World

We got learn about other amazing animals in the all-new Santa Presents: Christmas Animals Around the World. We met a variety of animals including camels, porcupines, and alpacas, all up-close. Santa even brought one of his reindeer.

Stocking Stuffer Trail

Saturdays & Sundays only. Guests ages 12 and younger are welcome to collect special sweets, toys and other treats at various festive stations throughout the park! To participate in this activity, you can purchase a Stocking Stuffer Trail reusable bag at any open store in the park. Then find (up to 8) Stocking Stuffer stations on the SeaWorld park map and make your way to these booths to collect your holiday goodies. We got to experience this for Halloween and the we got lots of goodies. I also love how they use physically-distanced delivery tubes to keep us and their employees safe.

Animal Presentations with a Holiday Twist

Enjoy all of your favorite SeaWorld animal presentations (dolphins, orcas and sea lions) with a touch of yuletide flair!

Cookies and Photos with Santa

If you haven't visited Santa yet you can include the Cookies and Photo with Santa when you visit. This is such a fun thing to do because you can enjoy a delicious snack, activity sheets for the kids, and all while Santa tells a Christmas story, all from a single-party outdoor table. At the end, you get to enjoy a physically-distanced photo with the big man himself to commemorate the fun! Make your reservations here.

Meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and his friends Bumble, Yukon, and Clarice, and make your spirits bright with a physically-distanced photo to take home and cherish. We can't wait to go back to experience this, I know my kids would love it.

Tunnel of Lights

For the ultimate insta-worthy moment we just had to take pictures under their shimmering, holiday-music activated tunnel. With over 5,000 colorful lights we were dancing the night away. We seriously did not want to leave the park.

Seasonal Shopping & Gifts

Before we left we hd to stop at the Holly Jolly™ Marketplace, a special seasonal boutique filled with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer® gifts, apparel and keepsakes. It was beautiful and I seriously wanted to buy everything in there.

We are so grateful that Sea World San Diego continues to enhance their safety measures to allow us to enjoy the park and all the beautiful events. Learn more here.

This and more is all waiting for you and your family. Seasonal food and drinks and so much more. We had a great SeaWorld Christmas and we hope you experience the fun too.
