The Ultimate Guide to SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration
We were so excited to kick off the holiday season at SeaWorld again this year. This is the second time celebrating the holidays at SeaWorld and at this point I am thinking it should become a tradition. We are a Christmas loving family and enjoy parks, so what better way to celebrate the two things that we love the most than at one of the best parks in Southern California. SeaWorld San Diego has something for everyone to enjoy and we love their new Christmas Celebration event going on right now, which is included with admission.
Christmas Cirque Show at the Nautilus Amphitheater
We absolutely enjoyed their new Christmas cirque show at the Nautilus Amphitheater. The stage is incredible and it's decked out with beautiful Christmas decorations. The show itself is incredible and has you sitting on the edge of your seat. If you visit, make sure to add it to your list, it's definitely a show you don't wan to miss.
Elmo's Christmas Wish Show
Join Cookie Monster, Rosita, Grover, and Zoe as they help Elmo find his Christmas wish! Dance along while watching this fun holiday show. Celebrate the Christmas spirit with Sesame Street in Mission Bay Theater.
Christmas Decor
The whole park is full of beautiful decorations and fun backdrops for the perfect photo. There are decorated and colorful Christmas trees everywhere. In addition, they have some amazing photo opportunities all over the park. There are so many different festivities taking place during this Christmas Celebration and it’s all incredible. since you can’t be everywhere at the same time, use your time wisely. Santa's Christmas Village
Santa's Christmas Village located at Sesame Street/ Explorers Cafe. I would suggest to go straight to Santa's Cottage as soon as you enter the park to put your name down to get a text return time and be able to get a private meet and greet with Santa. You will find Ernie and Bert walking around that area and you can also head out to their photo backdrop for a picture after you meet with Santa.
Shopping
If you feel like doing a little bit a shopping this is the perfect spot for all your Christmas shopping needs. They have the cutest Christmas decoration and ornaments inside the cafe and you can also get your gifts personalized. You can also visit their seasonal store over at the Holly Jolly Marketplace right in front of the Penguin Encounter.
Rudolph's Christmas Town
If you decide to head over to the peguin Encounter you will be heading into Rudolph's Christmas Town. Here you will find an amazing towering 30 foot, twinkling Christmas tree. This is where they hold their Christmas Tree lighting celebration around 5pm so be sure to grab a good seat so you can enjoy the show where you will be able to see Mrs. Claus and some mischievous elves. In addition to the Christmas tree lighting celebration, you can enjoy music and jolly entertainers spreading cheer for all to hear!! that's not all! you will also feel the snow falling from the sky as you dance the day away. If you are up for some more music and dancing, don't forget to stop by the music-activated tunnel of lights and dance so more.
Animal Presentations
SeaWorld Christmas Celebration also includes incredible animal presentations with a festive twist. We enjoyed Clyde and Seamore's Christmas Special at the Sea Lion Stadium. This show had why kids laughing so hard I have videos to prove it! haha they where hilarious.
Reindeer Round Up Scavenger Hunt
Last but not least, I encourage you to participate in their Reindeer Round Up Scavenger Hunt. It's a fun way for the whole family to come together in search of Santa's gifts for his reindeer. The gift boxes are located through out the park and you get a map with gift tag stickers you can peel and place on the correct location. After you complete the hunt, you get a cute gift from the Scavenger Hunt Headquarters.
