Back when I worked in Los Angeles, which feels like forever ago, I worked in an office made out of 85% of men, most of which consisted of Hockey Fans. These guys were passionate about the sport and always encouraged me to join them in a game, which I never oblige because I just really never got a chance to.
Come 10 plus years later and I’m finally getting a chance to experience my first Hockey game with the LA KINGS vs. Arizona Coyotes at Staples Center on Saturday November 23rd at 1pm. I’d like to think that those guys I worked with would be proud of me but maybe not too proud being that most of them were from Chicago haha!
I’m not only excited about experiencing my first Hockey game but I am also very excited that I get to attend this game with my family and in support of two great causes; Hockey Fights Cancer and @GenerationHer. Generation Her is a nonprofit that supports, mentors and teaches life skills to teen mothers across Southern CA.
