2020 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival
Food and Wine? Why, yes please!
The Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival 2020 has finally arrived and of course we had to experience it for ourselves. If you know us you know we are major foodies and we love trying different foods, cooking different food, and we won't ever say no to a delicious glass of wine, which is why my husband and I decided to make our way to the parks.
The whole purpose of anyone going to the food and wine festival primarily is for the food and drinks, that goes without saying, but it's also nice to know that there are other things that you can do while the festival is in town and even be able to have the whole family participate in these events that only come during a limited time. Since I knew the festival was right around the corner I wanted to familiarize myself a little more with the festival. I did a little research online and realized the festival is more than just food and wine. They have events and other activities going on and for some, no reservations are neeed.

Sip and Savor Pass
Our goal for this festival was to try out as much food as we possibly could. Upon our visit we decided to get a Sip and Savor pass, one pass for both my husband and I. Each pass consists of a commemorative credential, lanyard and 8 coupons redeemable for select food and beverage offerings (excluding alcohol).
Heres a tip for you: One pass was good enough for two people even thought these are tasting-size portions. By the time we were left with the last coupon we were already full, but if you decide to buy two and have coupons left over, the festival runs for about two months so there will be plenty of time to go back if you're an AP. For those who are just visiting for the day, pace yourselves, go for one pass and if you feel like you're not full enough you can always buy a second one.
The Sip and Savor Pass is available for sale at the Sip and Savor Cart, Seaside Souvenirs, Elias & Co., Kingswell Camera Shop, Rushin’ River Outfitters, Studio Store and each Festival Marketplace. Each Sip and Savor Pass is $56, including tax. To receive the Passholder price and keepsake, a valid Annual Passport and photo ID must be shown upon purchase
Each kiosk’s menu is inspired by fresh, California-grown ingredients like avocados, berries, citrus, peppers and artisanal cheeses.

Wine, Beer and Mixology Education & Tasting Seminars
My husband and I enjoy going wine tasting every chance we get so I decided to incorporate a seminar to our visit. Aside from the sip and savor pass we decided to stay for a wine tasting seminar to enjoy a variety of wines. I made reservations for the wine tasting a week in advance, I pretty much planned my Disney Date/ Food and Wine festival day based on the availably for this seminar because I was really eager to experience a wine tasting at Disneyland.
At only $25 a ticket, we were able to experience the seminar at Sonoma Terrace where we had some delicious wine from Peachy Canyon. We were able to try different wine varieties, get tasting notes and ask questions about the featured wines.

This time our kids will tag along and they'll get to enjoy the food with us. We are also hoping they get to enjoy the Jr. Chef experience, which I hear its entertaining and fun.
