The Sweeter Taste of Life

Fun Animal Encounters at Sea World San Diego.

I was about 7 years old when I first visited Sea World. It was during a school field trip and I was so excited that I got the opportunity to go. I remember loving the park so much not because of the rides, but genuinely because of all the beautiful animals. The shows of course also made a huge impact, loved all the presentations and closed animal encounters that I got to experience that day. That day I left Sea World with a full and happy heart. I knew I wanted to and bring my kids one day and I am beyond grateful that I now get a chance to do so .

One of the best things we could have done was get Fun Cards. Fun Cards allows us to visit Sea World as many times as we'd like. I see how much my boys truly appreciate when we visit and how much they enjoy walking around the park. It makes me so happy that they request to visit every chance they get and that they truly love learning all about marine life.

What is the SeaWorld Fun Card?

You get UNLIMITED visits for the rest of 2020 and all of 2021 at the cost of one day admission! This is an absolute no brainer, especially when you have marine life lovers like I do.

Pay for a day and play all of 2021, plus get the rest of 2020 FREE including Christmas Celebration and all seasonal events - only with a 2021 Fun Card! *Blockout dates apply.

Keep in mind, you still need to make a reservation before each visit.

Additional Information:

A Fun Card barcode is required to make a reservation for the date you plan to visit.

- There is a maximum of 6 reservations per order and each reservation MUST present an individual active Fun Card at park admission.

- Children under 3 do not require a ticket or reservation to visit

  • Must have an active Fun Card to make a reservation

  • Must bring both Fun Card and reservation ticket with you for admission

  • If you can't make your visit, you can re-book and reschedule your visit

  • Only make reservations for days you can definitely intend to visit the park so that Sea World can provide a safe experience for all guests

At the moment all rides and coasters remain temporarily closed until theme park guidelines are provided by state and local officials.

Animal Encounters

My boys had been requesting for a sloth encounter since we started visiting the park. I knew I wanted to schedule a tour as soon as possible and to my surprise both times we visited the park prior to the tours were always at capacity. I finally got to book one and got to make reservations to take my boys. They love sloths so when they found out they were going to have a close interaction with one they were so excited!.

The tour was about 15 to 20 minutes and it was very educational. We got to feed the sloth carrots and everyone who was part of the tour got to have a one on one close encounter with the sloth. It was a really fun experience for the whole family. We enjoyed it so much and we can't wait to book another one.

Because spots are limited each day, I encourage you to add the tour as soon as you make your reservations for your visit because spots usually sell out far in advance. Book encounter here.
